AI Image Quality Control

AI image quality control

Every generated image is checked against your model, frame, view and pose before you see it.

Every image RAWSHOT generates is checked by an automated reviewer before it reaches your library. The reviewer compares each photo with your chosen model's reference grid and with the frame, view and pose you asked for, and it also looks for technical defects such as added borders, pasted fragments or a sideways image. Anything that fails is discarded and generated again, so a large lookbook arrives without a manual first pass on every frame.

The reviewer is measured against images that people have checked by hand, and every test run records the exact model and prompt version it measured.

02 · The option set

Everything you can set

None of these is a page of its own. They are the parts of this feature, listed with their counts so you can see the whole of it.

Model consistency

Each image is compared with the model's reference grid. A different person, a drastically different haircut or a clearly different hair color is rejected; changes in pose, clothing, makeup or light are not.

—

Frame check

The crop has to match the kind of shot you requested, for example a full-body shot instead of a half-body crop. Small differences at the edges are allowed.

—

View check

The direction the model faces has to match the camera view you chose, so a requested front view does not come back as a back view.

—

Pose check

The visible posture must not clearly contradict the selected pose. Natural variation passes, and details the pose name does not mention are not treated as requirements.

—

Compositing defects

Pasted photo panels, body parts cut off in the middle of the image and overlapping copies of the model are caught and regenerated.

—

Orientation, borders and timestamps

Sideways or upside-down images, added frames or strips around the picture and camera date imprints are flagged before delivery.

—

Sensitive product detection

When you import products, RAWSHOT checks the source photos for sensitive items such as lingerie or swimwear and routes those shoots through a dedicated, more careful generation path.

03 · What changes

What this changes about the picture

Four consequences of the control above, and the limits it does not lift.

Borderline cases pass

The review is built to reject clear mistakes, not to second-guess close calls. A slightly tighter crop or a natural pose variation is delivered, not regenerated.

Measured, not promised

The reviewer is tested against hand-checked examples. Those tests show where it is reliable and where more evidence is needed; they are not a guarantee that every possible defect is caught.

Sensitive products

Shoots with sensitive products run on a dedicated path with a capped output resolution.

  • Shoots that include sensitive products, such as lingerie or swimwear, run on a dedicated path with a capped output resolution.

Consistency

Change one thing. The rest of the feed holds.

Consistency at scale depends on catching drift before it reaches you. The automated review holds every image to the same brief, so the hundredth image of a lookbook is checked as strictly as the first.

You change one

  • Frame
  • Pose
  • Camera view
  • Model

The rest holds

  • Model identity

The same model appears across a shoot because images showing someone else are rejected.

  • Shot type

Frame, view and pose stay in line with the brief instead of drifting from image to image.

  • Clean files

Delivered images are free of added borders, pasted fragments and wrong orientation.

06 · Who it's for

The job in front of them

Most people using RAWSHOT are one person inside a brand with a deliverable and a date.

  • E-commerce manager

Publish complete product sets without reviewing every image by hand

Before the next collection goes live

  • Developer integrating the API

Feed generated images straight into a catalog pipeline

When a manual review step would block the automation

  • Lingerie or swimwear brand

Generate on-model imagery for sensitive products in a controlled way

    Ahead of seasonal drops

07 · Use cases

When this is the control you need

The situations people arrive with, in the words they use, each answered with the figure that settles it.

A lookbook with many looks on the same model

Images that show a different person or a different hair color are rejected and regenerated, so the model stays recognizable across the whole set.

Images flow into a shop through the API

Because each image is reviewed before delivery, broken frames such as sideways shots or pasted fragments do not end up on product pages.

A swimwear collection

The product import flags the items as sensitive, and the shoot is generated on the dedicated path for sensitive products.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What happens to an image that fails the review?

It is discarded and generated again. If an image still does not pass after the retry limit, the request is marked as failed instead of delivering a flawed image.

Do I have to turn the quality check on?

No. The review runs automatically on every generated image, with no setting to change.

Will close calls be rejected?

No. The review targets clear mistakes. Natural pose variation, small crop differences or changes in lighting and makeup are delivered as normal.

How does RAWSHOT know the reviewer works?

The reviewer is regularly tested against images that people have checked by hand. Each test run records which model and prompt version was measured, and results show whether there is enough evidence for each check or whether more examples are needed.

How are lingerie and swimwear handled?

When products are imported, their source photos are checked for sensitive items. Shoots that include them run on a dedicated generation path with a capped output resolution.
